Cyberpunk 2077 Refunds Are Being Refused By PlayStation and Xbox

After several years of waiting and loftier levels of anticipation,Cyberpunk 207 7 finally made its fashion into the hands of gamers everywhere. Yet, the launch for the long-awaited title hasn't exactly gone smoothly; across the board players are running into a litany of bugs and technical issues, which are particularly noticeable with the game's performance on PS4 and Xbox One. While CD Projekt Red offered players the risk to request a refund following the game's shaky launch, it appears that some are having difficulties (or being outright refused) while getting refunds processed through Sony and Microsoft.

On ResetEra and elsewhere across social media, several owners ofCyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and Xbox I take reported being unable to obtain refunds for the game later CD Projekt Red released a statement this week that information technology would assist players unhappy with their purchases. Overall, there seems to be mixed messaging on CD Projekt Red'southward function alongside Sony and Microsoft in regard to refund requests forCyberpunk 2077. It's worth noting that some panel players have been able to get their refunds processed, though it'due south hard to approximate whether at that place is a consequent ruling on which refund requests are existence honored, especially with the game having such widespread issues on older console hardware.
