Community Service Plan (UPS)

OVERVIEW

Recovery Resources partners with Pitkin County to facilitate the Useful Public Service Plan (UPS) and is a fellow member of Colorado Alternative Sentencing Program (CASP). UPS is a program that monitors court-ordered community service hours and reports to the courts on the completion, or non-compliance of hours. The program is self-funded by the fees paid by the defendants to perform their hours.

HOW It WORKS

  1. Y'all are sentenced and ordered to perform useful public service hours as part of your sentence.

  2. Submit a copy of your sentencing order to Recovery Resource at communityservice@rrdetox.com.

  3. Complete intake bundle and pay the intake fee.

  4. Choose a worksite. After submitting the forms linked higher up you will be sent a listing of organizations you can work with and timesheets to download. Contact the arrangement(s) on the list that y'all would like to piece of work with.

  5. Take your paperwork to your worksite. It is up to yous to schedule your ain hours with the assigned worksite and work as scheduled. The worksite supervisor will monitor hours worked.

  6. Once all hours are completed, the worksite supervisor will sign paperwork. You are then responsible for returning all paperwork to this office. You can e-mail completed timesheets to communityservice@recoveryresourcescolorado.org

  7. This office volition verify hours worked and report to the court upon completion of hours.

  8. If hours are not completed by the due date, a complaint is submitted to the court for non-compliance. A hearing will be scheduled for you to appear before the judge. You lot may be given an extension or exist advised on the violations.
